A: I have thoughts about writing Soap Tale of Cultivation as a what-if. Other than that, there may be a short 2,3 chapters epilogue about the Enders. Currently(though it may change when we get there), I do not have have plans for a long spin off.
Q: In the last Q&A, you said you were planning completion at around 700 chapters. Does this still remain the case? If it changed, how many chapters are you expecting?
A: 700~800 chapters.
Q: How far are we into the Middle Realm episodes?
A: 90%.
Q: If you plan to write a new work after A Regressor’s Tale of Cultivation(please…), what genre will your next work be?
A: Currently, I think the Academy genre is most likely… but I do want to write xianxia again as well.

Q: When writing A Regressor’s Tale of Cultivation, which works, literature, and texts did you reference for worldbuilding?
A: To be honest, my worldbuilding has a lot of external influences, and also some influence from my personal life in the real world, so I cannot state them all, but I was influenced a lot by God of Highschool, Reincarnated Swordmaster, A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality, and Lord of the Mysteries.
Q: How do you remember your worldbuilding? Excel? Do you have a tremendous technique for writing?
A: I have my worldbuilding sheets. I also have the tremendous technique.
Q: I keep seeing depictions of soft feet in particular, this must be Daoist Tremendous’ preferences.

Q: Do you normally read a lot of other web novels?
A: These days, I usually do not. In the past, I read a lot of alternate history genre..

A: Specific elements of each stage is my original system based on my research of multiple worldbuildings.

Worldbuilding
Q: What is the form of Immortal Beast True Blood for beings without blood, such as plants and fungi?
A: It’s a spoiler… but not that important.
Immortal Beast True Blood is not really blood but aggregate of information or history that looks like blood.
Immortal Beast True Blood is the history of the Immortal Beast that has been piled up in Heaven and Earth Spiritual Energy to carry powerful authority, so even for examples such as mold immortal beast or durian immortal beast, mold true blood and durian sap true blood can exist..
Q: What is the difference between the energies between the Middle Realms such as ghostly energy, devilish energy, Heaven and Earth spiritual energy, and blood devilish energy?
A: They have a lot of effects on mental states and hormones. After all, Qi, Soul, and Fate are one. To be specific, the energy affects the body, the body changes and consequently changes the hormone produced, and the changed hormones affect the mind as well. As an example, ghostly energy turns your mental state to be like ghosts, and consuming devilish energy changes the mental state to be closer to devils.

A: It’s not a division of the universe, but multiple universes.

A: The latter.
Q: Do all Heavenly Domains have the same layered structure?
A: Other than the place Heavenly Punishment is imprisoned at, yes.
Q: Before the Five Blessings Seat Lords died, was the Earth Axis stage cultivation done by doing rituals to each of the Five Blessings Seat Lords to build the axes?
A: You could do that, but at Middle Realms inside True Immortals, the True Immortal helps you.
Q: What is the sense of time like for cultivators? Does a hundred years pass with a blink of an eye without doing anything, or do they withstand the time fully even if it’s tedious?
A: There are those who withstand the time fully, but quite a lot fail to withstand it and get corrupted.
Q: Why do Heart Heaven Demons follow the orders of Blood Yin?
A: Because they are beings that originate from Blood Yin.
Q: Is there something similar to the Heart Demon Tribulation at the Great Boundary?
A: There is something similar.
Q: I am curious about the relationship between Earth and the Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds. Will we see stories related to Earth, directly or in spin offs?
A: I think it will appear in spin offs. Not really related to Mount Sumeru, though. Or perhaps not? Hm… Spoiler for now.
Q: How do ghostly creatures without bodies cultivate?
A: They usually find a body to cultivate with or create a ghostly body with ghostly energy.
Q: Do the Devil Race just do Earth Tribe cultivation, just with heaven and earth spiritual energy switched with devilish energy?
A: Usually, that is the case.
Q: Do normal cultivators train without resting during cultivation? Or do they cultivate with some rests in between?
A: First rate talents do the former. Average and below do the latter.
Q: How do normal cultivators go to different Middle Realms during the Four-Axis stage?
A: Sun and Moon Heavenly Domain is an odd case. In other Heavenly Domains, True Immortals help you build the Five Blessings Axes by connecting to it if you pray to them.
Q: During the Nether Ghost Realm episode, is there a reason Eun-hyun first saw the general shape of the Nether Ghost Realm, but failed to see it later?
A: There is a risk of your head exploding if you recognize a being too great, so he instinctively refused to understand.

A: I think 100,000 years would be enough.
Q: Based on the depiction in the novel, what’s significant about Middle Realms is not being made of the corpses of True Immortals, but having enough Heaven and Earth spiritual energy and having enough attraction force for cultivators to ascend to. In that case, can Middle Realms be made without using True Immortal corpses? By True Immortals creating them?
A: Theoretically possible. For example, beings like Bong Myeong are capable of creating Middle Realms. Albeit, with some flaws…
Q: Can lowly things like wind and tree branches or abstract things like light and darkness be Immortal Treasures if you connect power and attraction force?
A: You can definitely use them that way.
Q: What is the difference between those who were born as descendants of Immortal Beasts and those who accepted the True Blood? Like the fishheads in the Ancient Force episode, can you equal the purebloods just by developing the blood? In the first place, how can children of Immortal Beasts exist when True Immortals give birth to fate?
A: Spoiler… but it will be shown later. Actually, there is only a little difference. What difference is there is just whether the Immortal Beast that is the source of the blood ‘has special feelings for descendants or not’, so accepting the blood should not be a problem. Q: What’s the average size of the consciousness domains in the Minor Boundary and Middle Boundary?
A: In the Minor Boundary, the scale is based on ‘nations’, and in the Middle Boundary, the scale is based on ‘planets’.
Q: Can leftovers establish themselves and become a separate True Immortal or high level cultivator from the original and leave behind their own leftover?
A: They can, if they are a completely separate being from the original.
Q: What is the average time period it takes for Heavenly Domains to reach the End.
A: There is no average. The time it takes to realize the heart is different every time.
Head Realm
Q: When Great Mountain Supreme Deity used the Phenomena Extinguishing Mantra, was Head Realm fine?
A: Spoiler, but not a big spoiler, so I will tell you. It was not depicted, but the direction Great Mountain Supreme Deity threw the compressed Heavenly Domain towards was towards the Head Realm.
Q: Did the Head Realm exist even before the cultivation system was changed?
A: Hm…… Spoiler, but it did exist. Specifics are spoiler.
Bright Cold Realm
Q: Now that Heart Tribe Esteemed Ones are the strongest of the Bright Cold Realm… are Heart Tribe spies fellow daoists now?
A: Those with low realm and without backing would call Heart Tribe fellow daoists, but those with high realm and backing know that the End is soon, so they might throw a fit to relieve stress.
Q: Isn’t the number of Integration stage in the Bright Cold Realm too weird? You wrote that the human race has 10% of the Heaven Tribe’s strength, but they don’t even have 10 Integration stage cultivators. There are at least hundreds of Integration stage cultivators if not thousands, so how can human race’s strength be so big?
A: The strength of a faction is not just decided by high realm cultivators. History, potential for growth, possibility of retribution, benefit of attacking, economical power, information, rarity are all factors, so the human race is 10%.
Their history is surprisingly big, which means they are capable of a lot of things. Searching the human race libraries can get you basically any information, they are very good at making pills and cuisine using the Devil Race, and beings like Jinlu Gok and Yang Su-jin pop out of them, so there is a high probability of retribution (even though Jinlu Gok does not think of himself as human anymore). In addition, grinding up humans to make pills is only helpful for humans that are learning devilish arts, and human corpse products are not particularly valuable for the Bright Cold Realm as a whole, so messing with them is without benefit. Their temper is also bad, so they are willing to suicide bomb themselves when they think they will lose their valuables, so it is hard to steal stuff from them as well.
There are a bunch of reasons they are 10% of the Heaven Tribe’s strength.
Races
Q: How long is the lifespan of the Dragon Race, and how much does their lifespan increase per stage?
A: It’s different for the Lower Realms and the Middle Realms. In the Lower Realms, the Dragon Race gets a lifespan of around 100 years upon birth. They get double the lifespan per stage, compared to humans. In the Middle Realms, they are born with 500 years of lifespan. The lifespan increase is the same as Lower Realm.
Q: What advantage do the Dragon Race have over Human Race cultivators.
A: Other than having lower intelligence in the Qi Refining stage and being unable to do Heaven and Earth Dual Cultivation, every aspect. Their skins are thick with scales, their bones are tough, their mustaches look cool, they can transform into humans, and their horns can be boiled for medicine. They can even shoot beams with their mouth, so they are better than human in every aspect.
Q: Out of every faction in the Bright Cold Realm, where is the Dragon Race at?
A: In terms of superiority of their race, top 1 alongside the Fighting Ghost Race. But in terms of their faction, they are tied for top 8 with the Tiger Race.
Q: Heaven Tribe has the word heaven in it, and names have attraction force. In that case, comparing Heaven Tribe with Earth Tribe, is the Earth Tribe more free from fate?
A: Not at all.
Q: Do different Heaven Tribe races have the same ritual methods?
A: They all have different ritual methods.
Q: If I get isekaid to the world of RToC, are superior races to be born as Fighting Ghost Race, Dragon Race, and Human Race? Dragon Race especially seem to have high outputs.
A: Correct. But the Dragon Race is probably the best race to be born into. The Fighting Ghost Race is a lewd(?) race where every day is like living in Azure Heaven Creation Sect, so you would have a hard time if you were born as one.

Q: I read that the minimum stage that can drive mortals mad upon sight is the Four-Axis stage (Q&A 5). Is the reason that Four-Axis is the stage you start manipulating attraction force?
A: Yep, that’s correct.
Q: In that case, is the phenomenon of returning something that happens in the Plane of Qi, and is it attraction force in the Plane of fate?
A: Woah… how…
Fate
Q: What does soap become if it is raised to the Plane of Fate?
A: I think it will be purification.
Q: If salt is repentant enlightenment lowered to the Plane of Qi, what is light in the Plane of Fate?
A: When the name of the Radiance Supreme Deity is revealed, you will understand.
Cultivation Methods and Immortal Art
Q: Can you learn Immortal Art without cultivating at all?
A: Theoretically possible.
Q: What is the relationship between cultivation methods of the Fighting Ghost Race like Fighting Demon True Sea Radiance and Six Chains Forest Technique with Yuan Li’s innate true methods like Blood Demon Suppressing Seat Light and Blood Chain Binding Forest?
A: In the first place, when Seo Hweol did not have Oh Hye-seo, Yuan Li was supposed to serve her role. That’s why he made Yuan Li learn devilish arts that were modified from Fighting Ghost Race cultivation methods so that he could inject the traits of the Fighting Ghost Race into him.
Dual Cultivation

A: Theoretically possible. However, fitting the condition for giving Seven Stars Ritual blessing is difficult.
Q: How strong are Grand Perfection Earth Axis stage cultivators and Grand Perfection Integration stage cultivators that went through Earth Axis?
A: Grand perfection of Earth Axis stage = normal early/mid Integration stage. Integration stage based on Earth Axis = beyond Integration(If you have more advantage than others you can go up to Quasi-Star Shattering).
Q: If you reach the Heavenly Being stage with a Core Formation cultivation method, does the cultivation method evolve to a Heavenly Being stage cultivation method?
A: You must first evolve the Core Formation cultivation method to Heavenly Being level, or have that much understanding to reach the Heavenly Being stage.
Q: In the case of the Earth Axis stage that builds Five Blessing Axes, Six Extremes Axes, and a Five Element Axis, how is early, mid, late, grand perfection determined?
A: No axis is early. Opening the Axis Canopy with Five Blessings Axes is mid. Getting all of Five Blessings and Six Extremes Axes(Six Extremes Axes naturally come with properly trained Five Blessings Axes, so no need to acquire them specifically) is late. Five Blessings Six Extreme Five Elements Axes is grand perfection.
Q: Have you planned out all the cultivation and martial arts realms? Or do you have the vague plan and decide on specifics on the spot?
A: Vast majority of the worldbuilding is already done.
Q: Void Shattering corresponds to Star Shattering~Sacred Vessel, so if one trains Void Shattering to the level of Sacred Vessel while keeping Heaven and Earth Star Shattering cultivation, does that break the balance of the Three Great Ultimates? Or is the balance maintained?
A: It is maintained.
Q: In Earth Axis stage, the twelve axes were completed with 1 Five Elements axis+1 Vast Cold Heavenly Circle axis+4 Five Blessings axes+6 Six Extremes axes, so does that mean somebody without a Vast Cold Heavenly Circle axis cannot complete the 12 axes Earth Axis stage?
A: It can be made with Acceptance at Fate’s End Heavenly Circle. In the first place, early Four-Axis stage’s attraction force with no axes comes from the Acceptance at Fate’s End Heavenly Circle as the center… Ah… this did not show up inside the work.
Q: Related question, but the Nascent Soul was used as the sky because the Vast Cold Heavenly Circle was consumed as an axis, so what happens to the Nascent Soul after Heavenly Circle and Earthly Bearings Unity if you possess a normal Heavenly Circle?

A: You will understand when the domain that Radiance Supreme Deity governs is revealed.

A: 10 million years is all.
Q: If a Star Shattering stage Esteemed One loses their realm, does their body that was made of a star go back to the flesh of their original race?
A: Yes.
Q: Star Shattering stages call themselves “this Esteemed One” and True Immortals call themselves “this Immortal”, so what do Sacred Vessel and Entering Nirvana stage cultivators call themselves?
A: “This Sacred Master” is the most common in the Sacred Vessel stage. Otherwise they use whatever title is to their taste. Entering Nirvana uses the same titles as True Immortals.
Q: Do Heavenly Domains that are not Sun and Moon Heavenly Domain have Five Blessings Axes that match their Middle Realms?
A: In other Heavenly Domains, True Immortals help you build Five Blessings Axes if you pray to True Immortals.
Q: When Kang Min-hee was first shown as the Ghost Guiding Holy Mother, Jang Ik said that he felt the power of the stars. Can a Grand Perfection Integration stage exude such power without advancement to the Star Shattering stage if they trained the Six Divine Powers to the level of Immortal Art?
A: It is possible if you went through the Earth Axis stage. But without that, you cannot produce the power of the stars just by training Immortal Arts.
Q: When you look at a True Immortal, you gain wisdom related to the concept they are in charge of. Is this limited to True Immortals, or can it also apply to Entering Nirvana stage?
A: It is actually somewhat possible starting from the Four-Axis stage.
Heart Tribe
Q: Can a Void Shattering Heart Tribe fight with a Sacred Vessel stage cultivator with a base?
A: It depends on the ability of the Sacred Vessel stage cultivator, but in the case of a Sacred Vessel stage in charge of a Middle Realm, it is normal to get beaten to death inside the Middle Realm. Though it would be different at the stage beyond Void Shattering.
Q: Why does nobody systemize or unify the Heart Tribe realms??
A: That is impossible. In Cedar Wood Grove, there are too many different races, such as the slug race or the pebble race…
Q: You need to see lines of intent to reach Peak Master, so can a being without emotions never reach that realm?
A: You can reach Peak Master without emotions. You will have problems starting from Three Flowers Gather at the Summit.
Q: It is harder to maintain the power of the Heart Tribe as one’s cultivation increases because of the transformation of the emotions to attraction force, right?
A: Correct.
Q: If a Heart Tribe member rises to True Immortality in cultivation, does looking at them give wisdom of the Heart Tribe?
A: The enlightenment of the Heart Tribe is only meaningful if it is performed in front of the individual seeing, as Hyeon Gwi showed.
Q: Heart Tribe seems stronger per stage, is this limited to major characters? Or is it a general trend?
A: It is a general trend.
Grand Cultivators
Q: Without unfair misfortune (such as the End or True Immortals), how high can the Human Race Grand Cultivator Association reach?
A: All Grand Perfection of Integration. If lucky, Gol Maek might be able to reach Quasi-Star Shattering level.
Esteemed Ones
Q: If Yuk Jeung, Salt Sea Esteemed One of the Ancient Force Realm, reached the Star Shattering stage with Salt Sea Returning Dew Jade as his innate true method, how strong would he become? Equivalent to Jang Ik or stronger? Or the level of succeeding in revenge by defeating Hyeon Eum in his Esteemed One combination form?
A: Assuming he survives the End and does not suffer from any unfair circumstances, he could become a True Person. However, revenge is practically impossible because the main body is Blood Yin.
Q: Is the Blood Yin Realm Esteemed One Gyu Cheon a special case that has their self completely intact, and not used as a pseudo-Immortal Treasure? Also, why did Gyu Cheon defect to Blood Yin Realm?
A: For now, I will say it is because they were tempted and threatened by Blood Yin. Also, they do not have their self completely intact. Their situation is just a little bit better than other Blood Yin Realm Esteemed Ones.
Q: Please reveal the titles of the Seven Esteemed Ones Of An Era. I feel hollow because their titles were not revealed.
A: Normally, Esteemed One titles are handed by the Sacred Masters of the Middle Realms. To Blood Yin, the Seven Esteemed Ones Of An Era are just hacking tools for hacking the Bright Cold Realm, so Blood Yin did not bother giving them titles.
Q: Please order all of the Sun and Moon Heavenly Domain’s Esteemed Ones(+ Hyeon Eum in Esteemed One combination form) in terms of their strength.
A: According to my notes: Heaven-Collapsing >= Hyeon Eum in Esteemed One combination form (depending on circumstances, may the unshakeable top 1) = Kang Min-hee > Opening Heaven>Slaughtering Heaven > Final Heaven > Flattening Heaven > Gyu Cheon > Other Seven Esteemed Ones of An Era (depending on circumstances may be the unshakeable top 2) > Sea Sinking > Salt Sea > Nether Ghost Realm Esteemed Ones >= Red Tide = Great Pulse = Safe Heaven=Star Seeking >= Purple Gold Realm Esteemed Ones > Violent Cliff = Black Fog

Q: Esteemed Ones are friendlier to each other than I expected, so how did they get close?
A: True Persons are too high, Sacred Masters are too busy, and Grand Cultivators below them are too trash, so they get close to each other, who they can actually talk to.
Q: Are Mountains and Rivers Esteemed Ones those who became independent after reaching Esteemed One inside the Middle Realms, or those who reached it in the Astral Realm?
A: In vast majority of cases, they became independent after reaching Esteemed One. However, there is very rarely those who reach it in the Astral Realm.
Q: Below Sacred Vessel, were there beings that realized something when Great Mountain used the Phenomena Extinguishing Mantra?
A: All the Esteemed Ones realized something was fucked and screamed.
Sacred Masters
Q: Among the Middle Realm Sacred Masters, is Baek Woon the strongest?
A: In terms of connections that can be called right away, Yu Oh is the strongest.
Within the Sun and Moon Heavenly Domain, Ja Eum, the Sacred Master of the True Devil Realm is the strongest.
In terms of pure fighting power as a Sacred Master, Ban Ta is the strongest.
In terms of omnipotence within their Middle Realm, Hae Lin is the strongest.
They each have their own area they are best at, so it is hard to compare.
Baek Woon is the ‘Sacred Master with the highest comprehension of Immortal Arts’ within the Sun and Moon Heavenly Domain.
Q: Other than the five Middle Realm Sacred Masters, are there any other Sacred Vessel stage cultivators in the Sun and Moon Heavenly Domain?
A: There are, but they are all hiding in solar systems while shivering in fear of being kidnapped by Blood Yin. But there are not that many even if you count all of them.
True Immortals and Governing Immortals
Q: Is it possible for an Immortal Treasure to create an Immortal Treasure? Like Zhengli highing a Sacred Vessel stage cultivator, as an example.
A: Theoretically possible but… Immortal Treasure doing that is announcing that they will not work and laze around, so they usually don’t. If they do, their masters will spank them. There are cases where they recommend someone they like as their junior Immortal Treasure, though.
Q: What is the difference between purposefully giving knowledge like how Jo Yeon transmitted the method for reducing consciousness size and looking at a higher being to gain knowledge?
