    I've heard of this novel on reddit and a few insta comments. How is it? Is it really slice of life or normal cultivation novel? If it's a chill novel with occasional young masters coming and irritating MC, I'm fine with that. Can anyone give a decent review? Also, novels with similar premise as mentioned above? Don't mention gourmet of another world, black tech internet cafe, pet king, stay at home restaurant, solo farming tower. I've read those, as much as I could tolerate 😅

    There was a bug with the update system for this novel and sadly I noticed it too late. Hopefully it has been resolved and it will keep being updated. Also the missing second parts of some chapters added.

    Vol1. Ch.16 I know it's not become but oh well. The concept is really interesting, a guy who doesn't want to follow the b*llsh*t of cultivation and the normal path of a cultivator decides to become a farmer. Although there is a great lack of description, the story moves quickly, which is enjoyable. Bonus point, Big D ! why am I stopping the novel. 1. Romance. Even if it is executed correctly, it is way too important for me. I prefer a trashy romance that is mentioned 3 times in 400 chapters. Or better, no romance! 2. The MC himself. I won't go into detail so as not to spoil things but also because I don't really know how to explain what I think of him. My objective score would be 4.5/4.6 and my personal score around 3.3 overall a solid 4 in final score considered that I only read 16 chapter!!!

    Welp, back to reread for the second time during the break. Author keeps teasing us with AU stories, but this time the end of break isn't even in sight... Most recent AU is Unbroken, which is the world if the Breaking never occurred. Honestly it's kinda surreal as hell, but also just as good as the actual book. ...which is why I'm back here again for the second time in a month... IT'S JUST MAKING MY CHICKEN CRAVINGS WORSE, D*MM*T!

        Left it at 20 something chapters it's interesting and was getting better as I read but I had to drop it for some reasons I will pick it up soon ( after 20 chapters I felt story was getting serious)

      The story was born from this writing prompt: "Cultivator f*cks off and becomes a farmer" At it's core it's a slice of life, though the action can get quite intense at times. Basically it's a giant middle finger to all Xianxia tropes, where the mc runs away to the weakest possible place and lives there happily with minimal cultivator b*llsh*t. Naturally sh*t happens eventually, but it's not like some trash 'mc hides his power' novel where it gets revealed within the first couple chapters. In my opinion it's an absolute masterpiece, being my #1 favorite novel of all time, with #2 being Suicide Hunter and #3 being The Simulacrum.

      Our boy Jin is send straight from Canada to cultivator world, in the very best sect. He got fed up with his colleagues' poor manners and decide that he will live as he want and do his own things. But suprise suprise, strange things keep happening around him and on his Land. This may look like some other novels' plot where mc is dumb as a rock but strong as f*ck or driven by misunderstanding, but this novel has so much more to offer that it would be a shame not to try it.
