Summary

Ge Xiu is a nefarious star criminal. After being arrested, according to the Interstellar Supreme Law, he will face two choices: either serve a sentence of 1156 years in black prison or enter countless virtual worlds and become a miserable person who is tortured and abused all his life. How much he suffers is how much his sentence can be reduced. Ge Xiu chose the second one without hesitation.

So… The trial surveillance system stared dumbfounded at the Former•Interstellar Most•Wanted•Criminal•Currently•Weak•Poor Ge Xiu in the virtual world, punching the empire, kicking the Federation, overthrowing oppression and building a new world. Then he turned his head to the camera and cried: “I’ve had a miserable life, really.”

The chapters are so long 😭 i am also hoping to see more of MC's personality and sufferings instead of just his smooth sailing and genius

I seriously dont get the last two chapters like who the hell is Dr Zhao and whats the relation of him to Pandora? Does it matter and did Pandora's (male lead) selections matter? Isnt it specifically chosen because he has to be someone OP/ w/ a big background? Lastly the last part of the updated chapter, the mc blackout- why and wtf happen? Im so confused ryt now.

Why do all Shonen Ai have such good ratings? Are they all that good? I remember once reading one and didn't look at the tags. It was a very good stody until the MC slepped another dude's ass in a shower scene. Which sadly make me drop the story. P. S: By the way, I read past the shower scene back then as I thought it was done in a joking manner. It got much worse and now I have a mental immage I don't want to think about.

Is it really? I'm not sure about the others since I don't read shounen ai novels much but this novel is pretty good. It's exactly my cup of tea (except I'm a huge fan of smut and would have been happy if this novel have it but I'm not that thirsty.) You should just try it and see if you're okay with this. Each to their own after all so u can't just fully rely at others' review.

Had that phase when I found women hotter than men even though I'm a woman. Just realised that I've been surrounded by ugly men all my life.. and that there are hot men out there. Probably won't date me. But hey they exist and I'm not gay?

No, it doesn’t automatically mean you’re gay. You can enjoy a good story without being racist about sexuality or gender.

Not necessarily since I'm straight even though I love reading gay stuff (I'm a girl tho so I'm not sure if it counts HAHA). But yeah, anyway, at first it is fine, but eventually, at some point, you'll be unknowingly influenced by what you're reading to the point that you'll be a gay yourself. (Tho that will take a lotttttt of time and exposure for you to be influenced that much so no worries in just reading occasionally) The reason for this is because we humans tend to develop preferences for things simply because we are familiar with them. This tendency is known as the mere exposure effect. And so, with continuous exposure, you will eventually be attracted to them. PS: if you're not against being gay then go girl, read all you want. But if you are, then I suggest you either have less exposure (by reading occasionally) or still read all you want but just prevent it from affecting you deeply.

Thats not how it works. If anything, I'm more aware and supportive to the lgbtq community. Iḿ not gay and I wont be but, I'm more open minded now

Not in my experience(?) people usually have an inclination as to who they like as early as they begin to form memories and if they have a realisation after the fact it’s usually just repressed or they haven’t met anyone of the same gender they like yet (which would be them having a preference for the opposite gender). Even if you don’t take genetics into account, they say that the base personality of someone is formed within the first 6 weeks of birth, so if upbringing did have an effect on your sexuality it would be unconscious and within that time period; but even then i doubt it. After taking all that into account i really don’t see how media would have an effect on who you like, especially when gay people watch straight romances in media since they’re born but…. They still stay gay. It would be the same in reverse.

nah just means you aren't ignorant. just reading shounen ai doesn't make u gay, you just like some romance and perhaps the dynamics that come with bl couples. i know plenty of str8 ppl (including my brother) who read/watch the occasional bl.

This chat is wild man. Most of the time if you “become gay” after being exposed the lgbt media it’s because you were always gay (or any other orientation other then straight) and just didn’t know it because we are raised to believe that being straight is the default. That’s why more often then not someone who turns out gay later in life will be told they were corrupted by sin or the g*ys or what have you and not that they simply were not given the choice to explore this facet of themselves until old enough to explore it of their own free will without outside bias and judgement. So if after reading bl novels you “become gay” you’re probably not as straight as you think you are. And if you think that’s a curse or a bad thing then you should take a step back and think about why you hate the idea of being gay yourself. Whether you find the idea disgusting or if you fear the judgement of your peers is a personal matter for yourself.
