mmmm, MMMMM HAH HAH BEST FL I'VE READ IN FOREVER!!! The fl is a nice smart woman, you could say it's a man's brain in a woman's body but nope, MC is and always has been a woman. If I see someone else say this is a gender-bend or the mc was originally a man again I WILL F*CK*NG GO CRAZY!!!! Anyway, great novel, kinda similar to The Legendary Mechanic, the players make this novel so funny(I'm cracking up too much) translation got f*ck*d up by some weird ah translator from chapters 20-99 (the translator for these chapters kept using male pronouns for the Fl really annoying) Overall, even if you don't like female leads, read this anyway. The fact that the MC is female doesn't affect the story in the slightest. 5/5 based on enjoyment for me 4/5 on my hard rating system shadow slave is a 4. 8/5 on the hard scale for reference with Mother of Learning and The Perfect Run being a 5/5)

Nice one. One of the few works that I've read continually. Great work, love the translation. Just a few mistranslation from maybe chapter 20-99 but from then on its was all good. Love the world building and character works. Overall, good read.

Writing this when im 100+ chapters in. First of all i was mislead by reviews and noticed too late that most of them have not even read 50 chapters 🤣 Lets start with pros: it has decent humor, the pace is quite fast ( which is good for novels like this that has no depth), is easy to read - does not require focus, has a great start. Cons: has no plot whatsoever, mc starts with the goal to become strong but for some unknown reason focuses on game. Mc has 0 strategy, f. e. 100 chapters in and world tree has no scouts, 0 information gathering in the novel thats supposed to be kingdom building. There was this one mature player lin mu ( i think ) and dude has been benched and instead we focus on braindead characters. There is some loli / shota mention which cringed me. It started really nice but went downhill extremely fast. MC leaves the impression of very stupid person, their actions make no sense, side characters are not interesting AT ALL, the only interesting character i mentioned was benched lol. There is no tension, things are resolved too easily. Rather than elven kingdom and world tree, its more like authors wild dream of "wanna have this VR game". Writing is also very weak, feels like a text written by uneducated person. Overall its fun to read until it is not. Becomes boring and repetitive. Would have given 1 star if not for occasion good humor

Really good. The world building is amazing with great potencial especially with the kingdom building part. The multiple POVs from the players is also great and creates a nice immersion seeing the story from different people as well as the interactions between them all. And one of the best parts is the comedy from the normal actions the players do since they appear to be very funny viewing from the point of view of a non-player.

I love this. This is my second light novel and this novel made me quickly fall in love with the medium in general. The character interactions in this novel are genuinely extremely good. As someone who loves video games basically all the interactions, comments and behavior exhibited by the players feel real (and not to mention funny); you can tell the author adores video games as much as the reader. The references of a lot of video game titles, players finding exploits within the game system as well as the mockeries of the F2P aspects in games in general all prove this point. The world building is incredibly vast and rich as well, there’s so much to remember about the world of Saïgues that it fascinates me that an author can think of so many stuff to keep the reader interested. I’m incredibly hooked on the story and if the translator(s) somehow translates all 979(?) chapters from the raw material you bet your *ss I’ll read every chapter even if said procedure ends up taking years.

A great novel with excellent concept and lots of potential with the big world and variety of characters. . . Only problems you may suffer are that there are multi side characters pov hence less mc pov but that doesn't affect much and gender f*ck ups other than that it is a good snackable read. . . Go for it

it's a shame this novel stopped being updated here as I think this has the potential to become really popular. It's not a masterpiece by any means and some of the parts, especially the ending because wtf was that, could be better. However, this novel has a fleshed-out world, a somewhat interesting cast of characters, and a surprisingly good power system compared to most generic Chinese web novels. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something to pass the time.

This novel was one of the hidden gems on this site. I have been hoping to find something like this for while and I was glad to find it here. Hope this novel gets more love.

I really like this novel. it’s interesting to see how our mc regains the former power. the only thing i don’t like is how slow the updates have been on this site(not trying blame anyone, i just wanna read more)

The novel is actually very good. I read all 982 chapters and it didn’t disappoint me unlike many other cn novels. It has a lot of good twists throughout the story and there is one single time that cn nationalism is shown but just one and it didn’t even matter or difficult to read. Sure it is not in the levels of LOTM or SS but given the chance and the proper translator it can reach the top 10-90 in this site. Currently, the novel has 60 eng translated chapters but the mtl is complete but the mtl is one of the best that I have ever seen in all of my mtl reading days.
