I like this one so much, the story is really interesting, it has many surprises and I like all of the main characters. 10/10 definitely one of my favourite ones

This is masterpiece. I really love the world building, the romance, the fantasy and even the ending. It's not something like forced-romance that a fantasy novel usually had. Their relationship is wholesome, every part of it.

This is a really well-written novel, the author made calculations for every little detail, although it's a little bit confusing at the start, you have to get a better understanding of the system, and the subjects they did together were actually so much fun. I love smart people, ✨️ You Huo and Qin Jiu's interactions were always funny, especially when they were "strangers", both were so hostile to each other and as they grow to know each other more, they start to rely on the other without realizing that and it's the best part 😭 (Although we needed more kissing scenes🥲) Overall the novel is soo good, it's a must read! ❤️

it's a good reading and a really page turning. At the beggining I was quite confused about their plan and the system, but at the end it becomes so much sense and even got me amazed (its so smart yet simple? either way, its not that that hard for my brain to understand) I like how the author explain the background of the system and character, thou I still have some questions left, but its fine and I can draw lines about it on my own. The side conflicts (the exams) are also greatly done and a fun thing to read (its not too shallow and even have its own complexions). Honestly, at one point it concerns me how this is in fact a BL story and most of the BL one I've seen out there, there is atleast some too explicit mature content. But thankfully in this one there aren't any–at most it just a really thin layer of the surface. In fact, I love the dynamic of You Huo and Qin Jiu very much and even finding myself missing those kind of interactions.

I was rather confused in the first few chapters since I started as a Manhua reader. I was one of those who kept complaining about the system being lenient towards You Huo and the side characters not standing out. However, it all changed when I decided to read the entire novel. Most of the plot twists were rather interesting, and I like that no misunderstanding drama happened between the main cast. Side characters such as Di Li, Yu Wen, Old Yu, and 154 are really interesting and catch my attention aside from the main cast. Their personalities and backstories were well-written, and they didn't feel one-dimensional to me. There are also other characters who played a big role. I'm really happy that it wasn't just the MC and ML who did everything, and they have reliable allies. The romance's pace was a bit abrupt. There was tension between them, but they never tried to progress their relationship either. They are the greenish flag, though, so I don't mind the weird pacing. I wish there were side stories. The author only wrote an extra.

Nice book. Not nice in the way a2h, this is good enough to help me pass the time, ” but nice in a sense that it will leave you a bittersweet feeling after reading it, and would make you want to read it again hoping that it feels like the first time. That's how I would describe it. Now, being more technical: The world building is nothing amazing, but definitely creative. The characters on the other hand are well written, consistent, and while some may think is your usual cold character with laid-back character combination, they do deepen into the reason of their personalities and expand them a fair bit. Don't be discouraged by the shounen-ai tag, it's definitely worth reading.

Pretty good. Plot heavy. Nice way of introducing characters. Impressive world-building. Funny, oddly enough. Lowkey forgot it had romance tho. Don't expect to see much of the 'shounen ai' part at first. It is quite scary T_T but the way the characters act makes it less so.

I don't know what to say. This was the 3rd time I read this Novel but it feels just as good as when I read it the first time. I can't describe waht I am feeling. They are so sweet but their lovestory is so tragic, that I could cry (I did). They deserve their happy ending. I dont think that there is a love story out there that could meake me feel more emotions than this one. <3

I really think that this is one of the best novels I've read. It has suspense, camaraderie, love and romance, fear, grief, horror, friendship and family, guts and glory, and a highly technical and well-thought out and pieced-together plot. I'm a novelist, and my brains were always going, holy heck, this is amazing. As a reader, I just loved all the characters. They each had a role to play and I loved how they supported You Huo and Qin Jiu, and I loved how those two had a love-hate-yet-we-are-soulmates thing going on. (And yet. . . the ending was never set in stone. ). Anyway, totally recommended.

This novel was a very pleasant experience for me. The plot is impressive, the author has a lot of imagination and talent and it shows that, here, in this novel. Reading this novel was like enjoying the roller-coaster, the characters are really good ones (even the bad guys are great here). I couldn't stop reading, I trembled for fear, I laughed a lot and I was angry sometimes. In a few words I can say I was feeling like these incredible characters and followed them on their journey from a fantasy to real life. I won't write in my review about the plot (if you are curious just read the novel) , I just want to say there I felt the authentic chemistry between the 2 main characters and I loved every minute spent on this novel. I must give my appreciation to the person who translated it, without his/her work I couldn't enjoy this marvelous novel.
