In less than an instant the world as we knew it was at its end. That’s right. The Apocalypse. In a single blink Zombies appeared and mutated monsters began to rampage all throughout the world. Now it was the human species turn to fight for survival and planetary dominance! On the same day that the world descends into chaos we meet Yue Zhong. Initially only hoping to get to his friends and escape to a refugee camp our protagonist sets out, inadvertently building a team along the way. After a series of fortuitous events and a few serious hunches our hero decides it’s time to do more than just survive! Yue Zhong begins to form the foundations of an enormous survival plan… before he suddenly discovers that he has only gotten over the first hurdle….
Unbeknownst to Yue Zhong and company, the world outside of China is mostly a wasteland! Country sized swathes of nuclear radiation and an extreme shortage of supplies in the world after the nuclear explosions was quickly becoming the “norm”. Mutants, Evolved animals and what’s worse, intelligent out of control dinosaurs had quickly appeared and claimed their own sections of the planet. There were several innately powerful Evolved races which appeared that were more than 10 times stronger than humans, nearly all of them possessing bodies impenetrable by normal bullets. The fabled orcs’ were another of these Evolved races, the leader of which had in fact enslaved many of the remaining human beings. Unceremoniously exposed to such a cold and heartless new world, Yue Zhong is faced with a choice: Find a deep dark hole and hope it goes back to “normal”? Or overcome all obstacles and struggle towards Evolution!!!

Comments on the novel chapters for the last week.
The story premise is decent, but either the writing or the translation is terrible. After chapter 150 I couldn’t take it anymore
A little advice; Do not take as definitive truth what is written in the reviews or comments about a novel unless you want to doubt the reading, because the criticism will most likely discourage you and you will not read it or you will start with low expectations, damaging that experience. Almost everyone has their own unique interpretation of the novels they read, so, as they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. Read it yourself and judge from that. It should be noted that this applies to any novel.
I really like this book, especially the beginning with the zombies and their mutations which increase the pressure it exerts as it evolves and the story progresses. not a fan of the times that are happening in vietnam with racism but it remains a good book I think. be careful a lot of children who think they are all allowed and invincible because their parent is a statue person.
Too much nationalism for me.
You can read 1. Dimensional Decent 2. Lord Shadow Similar theme but better story writing (not better than Blood Warlock)
Hello I would like to ask if you know of a similar novel that is not bloodlock
I really dont know if I want to continue reading, I know I shouldn't compare this to blood warlock, but I was hoping that it would help subside my craving for that novel. Sadly, it just ain't hitting the same, even with the similarities, currently at chapter 72.
On chapter 87 the protag worries about grains.... Don't they have that plant manipulation skill? Bruh
Is it only the beginning translation bad or is most of the story the same?
Not worth it and it is a typical CN webnovel, but with some mature theme. I read till 316. The story is highly repetitive and everyone in the world is either idiot or coward except MC, yeah that's it. Everybody got the same notification but only MC was smart/brave enough to follow it. When MC was gaining level after level others were not even level 10 like wtf and few people even tried to get power to survive(?). Oh and plot armor is so strong MC thinks and in next sentence he gets it. And the template is MC gains power and group then another one provokes MC. MC fck them up and conquer them, After a while, MC gets attack by others but due to circumstances MC temporarily joins them and fights the zombies and guess what? MC takes over that group too. And you must think MC will now have a life of rulers? Nope, he gets swoosh out of there(teleports/chase by zombies) and he finds some low weak people they betray MC knowing he is super strong then he kills/conquer them and goes and conquer the whole region with the same previous format, first fight then join them and out of nowhere you are their leader. Then the cycle continues. There is a big continuity error in the novel too. Even his people will be like oh he got swoosh again..... well let's get back to work. And some characters are just forced characters like the main side character is one of them. They are totally not matching to the story and only there to compliment MC and totally useless since in every template restart you just ditch all the other characters you grew emotionally attached to(LOL). And later on, MC gets swoosh to another country, and yeah the same thing happens but with a little more patriotic manner even when the country and sense of border is actually all gone. He conquers the region boss and swoosh gone again. Oh yeah MC finds his parent who has decent civil work and later on MC conquers that place but his parents are never mentioned after 4 chapters he meets them. Only read this if you are seriously bored after the first 100 chapters it has the same template that gets repeated one after another.
