For everyone who want a review (100chp) First of all the general aspect of the story From the title you know It's about a kid (with high fortune) found a white lotus (his cheating system) and so he's on his way to become the elden lord The white lotus comes from a great magus that for unknown reasons got attacked and die (Smth is missing with the idea of attacking the greatest magus bcz of an item) From the beginning chapters you will know if this is your cup of tea The mc is an orphan and got bullied but he take revenge very quickly (here comes the first problem..why the hell he attacked a nobel kid and more why the hell a nobel kid is without guardians) The academy test was just like what you would expect from a cultivation novel (breaking the records and gets attention from the teachers) For some reason the side characters are few and they're so normal written The combat is magic with martial arts 7/10 mid Novel Read for fun only
For those wondering who is amon. Main antagonist of lotm Man who make Intire Fandom fear monocle Scariest villain who made mc doubt life The king of the angel, The god of the descit The error

I read up to chapter 200 and dropped. For anyone reading this, expect a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies. For example, the protagonist is an orfan( since i think it was 5) who lived in a cruel world where the strong prey on the weak, and he managed, somehow, survive to late teens when he enrolls in an academy. You might expect him to be someone more careful, decisive, who values the things and opportunities he got and THINKS BEFORE HE ACTS, but you would be wrong. He is as much of a young master as the actual young masters of the stories, with the only 3 differences being his lack of etiquite, his"moral" standing and a money obsessed personality. There are times when the plot armor is so obvious and thick that i wonder why didnt the author just straight up write "plot armor here". The only decent things are fights descriptions and the writing. The story is just an amalgamation of every possible cultivation novel cliche you can think of.
To anyone considering reading this, know that the actual character development occurs at chapters near 325
Rawr
curly hair? wizard hat? close enough, welcome back amon
Has anyone every wondered how to say Magus? People always say it like "magg-us", but I have also heard "mei-gus". Personally, I like "ma-jews" or "ma-juice"
I've read the first 269 ch, and here's what I think. MC: 7.5/10 (I like his playful personality) PLOT: 7/10 (it's quite an interesting plot) WORLD-BUILDING: 7/10 (good enough) ROMANCE: N/A (up to this point, everyone except the mc, has a partner, so...) Rating: 7.5/10 COMMENT: A good novel perfect for passing the time. For readers of martial world, LOTM, and Harry Potter, you'll find many common elements, probably because the author was inspired by these works, but that doesn't diminish its value. The MC, as well as all the other characters, are interesting, the plot is good, and the writing is smooth. There are some chapters that left me a little disappointed, but overall it's a novel worth reading. Give it a chance, you might like it.
Up to chapter 335 now... so far novel isn't half bad The good: solid writing Well defined power levels (except for MC ofcourse) Decent world building. By using ignorance of the MC about the world they live in to slowly tell us about the world. Some mystery and intrigued added into the story Goofy MC (if you like that) Decent amount of time spent exploring MC mai party members lives and helps build their connection. So far thankfully no system handing out missions or telling him exactly what to do to progress. The bad: Pretty predictable. Since the MC isn't particularly smart with regards to strategies or tricks most of what he does is predictable and with the plot armor you sort of know how the story is going to end up. Pretty standard plot so far. Nothing new about the concept of the story. Plus the white Lotus is sort of a really annoying plot armor explaining why the MC can do a lot of things. It devalues the effort put in by the rest to master their craft.
Yo it's Amon
