Honestly this novel is the definition of cringe, Horrible grammar and lacks any tension. the story also has too much repetitive words, lots of plot inconsistencies and chapters filled with lots of filler that do not move the plot forward in any reasonable way. The high score on here is heavily biased by people that lack quality novel reading experience.

I usually don't speak too much about novels since i just read them and pass along however this one is pure gold and one of the best i have ever seen main character is likeable u can see that character development throughout the novel also his wife is good character too their romance might not be best but it is one of the best written romance in Chinese cultivation novels mc here actually had to do something in order to get in relationship with her(fate played tricks yet that is one of things wang wei allows in his life. . . usually he rejects everything from fate however that's is not case when it comes to this woman.

One of my favourite xianxua novels and a hidden gem. The power system is insanely good and well developed and the author presents it very clearly. Mc faces various challenges and grows stronger from them, there is a very little romance but it only makes the read more enjoyable. There are a lot of side characters and we can watch their fights and growth too. Although author's concept of distance is a little off and exaggareted it just shows the power scaling is insane in this novel. Recommend to anybody why loves to read an mc getting insanely strong througj various means

A ride-along mystery, brain power expenditure can be expected to be 60-90% depending on experience, there's intense action, deep schemes, and funny scenes. the characters are well-written and stick to their behavior and patterns and when they act out it's for a reason and not because they need to be an *d**t to activate mc's plot armor or to magically progress the plot. The early chapters can be a drag but like most novels of its type if you push through the first 20 chapters you will be rewarded, the reason for its early bore is unique, so it may or may not be a novel experience.

This novel is very very underrated it should atleast be in the top 10 of this site. I really liked how smart the mc is and doesn't follow the regular cliche. Also the schemes and plots just makes it even better.

Definitely one of the best cultivation novels out there. I have wanted to read a cultivation novel that focuses on the Fate DAO and this did not disappoint. . . hooked till the end. Kindly drop your recommendations on similar novels if you know any.

Simple review to help you make up your mind, this book is GREAT, but, the first 200 chapters are not that great, they’re not bad but they’re not that great, but after that?? Then this book becomes top 5 on this site, trust me. So yh, stick with it.

I have been reading martial arts novels for quite some time and this is one of best. Everything is well build, the characters are smart, the plots were fine, the cultivation system is very vast, well build and solid. Also, there is a bit of "philosophy" of Dao but just fine, not few but not much either, as a result it's a very nice pick, you should try it.

This is a masterpiece. The mc is very smart and the opponents are also very cunning, the heavenly emperor arc is my favourite currently , i wish I could forget this novel and read it again

Ii read this novel upto 7 ch today I can surely agree about three things First i can't see a mere child 8 years old(though he is reincarnated)lecturing great cultivators of saint realms So I can see there will be a lot of face-slapping moments He also called himself a cultivator who understand the dao-heart but dude doesn't even began to cultivate and his word enlighten the strongest cultivators I agree that his soul is paragon level but how can this possible that mc from earth who doesn't know a bit about cultivation , then get REINCARNATED suddenly became wise as some old monster Second the quality of english is really a bit below medicore Honestly I can't give my opinion of this novel now because I have only read 7 ch but from my experience of this genres I can tell this definitely not a good sign
When you see a 1 star review amidst a bunch of 5 star reviews just know the person is a troll. If a lot of people review a book 5 stars, that means there’s something enjoyable about the book right? At least even if it’s not your cup of tea or not up to expectations there’s no way it’d be 1 star. I’ve read the book and I can’t remember 1 single chapter that’s filler, so I don’t even know where he’s getting that from. The grammar might not be too notch but calling it horrible is just being stupid. As for repetitive words I don’t remember that being a problem in this book🤔. As for inconsistencies, anyone can just spout nonsense, okay, point out an example of inconsistency in the book. And he’s talking about “quality novel reading experience” on a pirated Webnovel platform where there’s a bunch of braindead xianxia lmao. Pretty sure he’s one of those lotm readers, mind you, I’ve read Reverend insanity and lotm. Just read yourself and ignore this guy
