Does this guy get strong or is he forever weak
Started really strong and had a unique plot, but honestly this got tiring quite fast. The constant rape of the MC and the almost bl vibes are unbearable. I don't have anything against the genre, but f*cks sake if you wanna make a bl then do it, all those innuendos about lovely, cute, handsome regressor but still denying that he is attracted to him is annoying. Furthermore, what fascination has the author with crossdressing the characters so much, 1st time was for a good reason and it moved the plot, but the rest are just weird fanservice with no motives whatsoever. Not sure if this is because is a Korean novel where sleeping or drunk rape are a real issue, but why they have to rape MC at every opportunity that he is sleep, let them have s*x like normal, it won't change the story at all. Lastly, the lack of character growth is just stupid, why are so many new characters introduced if the old ones and new ones never get development.
I'm dropping at around 200. Could probably go further, but I'm too tired to give it a chance. 4.5/5 for me if I exclude my main dislike. 2/5 is my actual rating. I came mentally prepared since it was a harem, but my god was that one of the most gut wrenching harems I've seen. Each one of his women were written as blandly and horribly as female characters in the Xianxia genre. Not to mention that we're only 200 chapters in and he already has like 6 of these women. I mean, I loved everything else, but this story really just isn't for me. I know I'll get plenty of downvotes, but I'll leave this here as a warning for some. If you love harem maybe you'll like this. But if you THINK you're slightly tolerant to harem, reading this will make you think again. I thought I was already a little bit tolerant to harem aspects/stories after seeing a few, but wow I guess not. Those were completely mild compared to this. Never even knew a harem could get this bad.
400 chapter is my limit, this novel got on my nerves. I do not have problem with our MC because his personality is quite interesting to me, but the character development is terrible, especially with Jung Hayan. Throughout my read, she did not have a single improvement in dealing with her past. She has a abandonment issue, and I was fine with that. When that issue turn into a extreme obsession which made her a yandere, I was also completely fine. However, later on, her obsessive love started annoy me, it feels like she is completely hollow, author did not even gave her a inch of depth. Moreover, MC was built to be a manipulator, who possess the ability to read the mood, predict the aftermath, bla bla. And how ter f*ck he was always surprised by Hayan emotion outburst? He should have been able to know what kind of action a yandere can have before he decided to pull a move.
