I have read abit of beyond the time scape hundred times better starting and quite a bit of novel/light novels/manhwa manga/manhua/donghua, anime, movies and what not and nah first volume wasn't enjoyable heck I didn't even enjoy second volume that much the story isn't that gripping in the start especially for me who doesn't really like fy that much I'm reading for ren zu, unique system, MC's ending (not gonna get till it's un banned), story the world itself is interesting but the monologue are not smooth for me and fy inner monologue annoy me I'll finish this bec it's better than stuff like martial trash by 100s of time though

Well to be honest when I read it 1st time I was completely in Love with character named fang yuan, his demonic nature, His scheming, his views on life they were something I would Ponder entire night sometimes. I never consider morals while reading to begain with, I like Griffith even when he r*p*d heroine infront of mc, I mean That's what villain suppose to be, vegabond, monster and 20th Century boys further made me love such characters. I have read atleast 20+ novels of each genre and more than 100 Cultivation novels and to be honest I even find ergen novels Somewhat same aside from renegade immortal. I never read ri like other novels in the 1st place, this book helped Me get up when I was really depressed and in pinch, it was Never for entertainment for me. I read this with same mentality As when I read atomic habits or art of war.

never minded evil mc the only i cant seem to like him is his inner thoughts(first reason) otherwise i not minding his actions actually he not really well evil he someone with no morals and for what eternal life(another reason i find mc not that likable)why? he shall be demon or buddha for eternal life but what is the point of eternal life that just means he scared of death yet true immorality is bound less strength and eternal life which is more like a 'god' thing your not human no more what to do af he reaches his goal? have a family? have friends? nothing you will still lose everything hes goal is umm well... the most disturbing thing till now was him eating a monkey brain while monkey is alive i might have felt more disturbed if it was a human also this shows mc is cruel and i noticed he has feelings just discards them if thet in the way of his goal for e.g in chapter 600 to 605 there was a chap where he was tasked to find true love he remembered a girl from first timeline

So he's not actually a human not having any feelings, desires means you are not human also immortality means loneliness for someone without emotions, feelings how can he enjoy the process of his journey, the calm setting of the sun , play around and scheme he will lose all meaning of life(conclusion he has feelings but are secondary in front of his goal he doesn't want weakness)but eternal life means he can be killed one way or another he wants to face difficulties in pursuit of something "he goes against human nature" also fate is on his side as far I can see him returning back in time everytime is a testament to that he's luck is bad though dunno why luck and fate being similar are both opposed when it comes to mc 😂 (I'm only on 614 something rn)

Well try to not go further than 50 at least I am telling you from personal experience You will find it preety boring if you read like that especially Northern plains arc and arc after that well every novel is different. Some are to binge like ss, while some are long term like ri. Read slowly and take break, well it's best way to read ri In my opinion as story goes in a flow, you can enjoy Build ups world building and power system. Well I am currently giving this advice to other readers as well Reading ri is taxing to mind unlike ss and lotm (after 1st v)

This novel "was" my first time reading such "masterpiece" Not my first novel , not my first manga , manhwa, manhua , not my first reading of cultivation storys But my first time that a novel affect me This is such masterpiece that it change a lot of things about me That is the meaning of ″my fist time" ... I mean martial peak is a cultivation novel and manhua, and magic emperor is the same ... So And there was a time that I was obsessed with cultivation storys So nah not my first time reading cultivation storys But not a a story until this one , could have any real affect on me And the first part is kinda boring Specially for someone that every night think about what happened In 1000 chapters ahead ... but If you compare it to other volumes it is most boring because it is kinda just introducing mc and his goals and how great he is as a character and the world that he live in ... But I'm not a first reader so a introduction is kinda boring

If It was my first reading I would say the most boring was after the fight with spectral soul and getting sovereign Idk that new body And "cultivating in north plains" but if it is a second or third read then that isn't most boring anymore But that part was the reason that I leave this novel for one month and 2 week ( and a few days )
