Supreme Magus (Web Novel)

Supreme Magus surprised me—real character depth, a well-built world, and a plot that actually goes somewhere. Amazing book id recommend to anyone.

You know that one cockroach you suddenly encounter inside your room whilst enjoying a good video game, you "killed" it and go back to playing, but then you look back to where u "killed" it and now its gone? Now you have to spend the rest of the time playing whilst being anxious because you never know when it might appear again? Yeah there's that one cockroach of a character here that wont be killed even if you nuke him. The plot Armor on him is thicc asf. How the story was written would be about 4. 5 if not for that cockroach but i cant anymore knowing what happens. Also the author forces weird mentalities on the characters that should have no bearing on another world. Like these are some top tier written characters, but only became sh*t because they were forced to be sh*t.

Difficult beginning, then it gets better, you see an evolution in the character, it creates hope. . The protagonist is not very attractive, but the story was evolving in the right way. So the author took a break from the story (I think due to health problems), the story had a change of pace and direction, which left some holes. The story remained cool for many people, but for me, it died there. I felt disconnected from the story. The protagonist was going to travel the world, but then he decided to cancel. This happens when he finishes magic school. Among other things, the main thing is; I had expectations of a romance with any of the three girls, maybe even a harem, since the protagonist was a difficult person to get close to, but the author broke my expectations that I had been cultivating for hundreds of chapters.

Good writing, solid work on power level and interesting take on the magic system. Some drama here and there but overall necessary for character development (with some sporadic problem of stagnation that eventually is kinda irritating but still acceptable imho). Gonna wait for the ending to decide if this is worth 5 or 3 star.

Not going to lie I was honestly worried about the journey I was getting into this when starting this novel because of the comments and reviews here. I just want to say this is probably one of the best novels I've read, with some of the best side characters, definitely one of the best Main characters. I love the journey of Lith going from a damaged person into someone you can really respect and root for. As for the concerns for the power system people kind of cappin' in the reviews here. The power system always makes sense I'm not going to lie and they slowly introduce new Concepts over time in ways that also makes sense in my opinion. The powers do scale exponentially but it makes sense when you're going from basically a hunter to standing if not in line with the beings that are akin to God in this world at least at the starting line to them. I'm definitely going to update it when I catch up but if you worry if this novel is too long and you're worried about the investment then don't! Because this is one of the best Tales of personal growth I've ever seen. I really hope that you guys if you read this enjoy the novel as much as I do. Though do check back in like a month or so cuz I'm definitely going to update it with when I catch up LOL

great book, unbelievable setting, actually character growth and consequences, not just the mc with a personality, sure some arcs are better than others and some characters you can't wait for them to die but never do.

Just horrible, the author is trying to make the MC some mass murderer killing people for no sensible reason and then go on to talk about his humanity and trash like that. Stick to whether you're making the MC some cringe edgelord or a character with actual substance. Has a good plotline but insufferable MC.

In the 3437 chapters I've read, the biggest problem is that there is far more drama than there should be. Sometimes they even stretch it out for so many chapters that it gets annoying. I'm still reading it because I've already wasted a lot of time getting this far, so I'll go to the end. For new readers: the first few volumes are really worth it.

The story ends at chapter 2000. Once the wedding arc ends, stop reading. You have reached the best ending for this novel. All other plotlines devise your own ending for them, it will be better than what this b*st*rd is cooking for them. .

I started reading this webnovel in the past but never had enough time to really get into it. Now that I can listen to it it's absolutely amazing. Not only is the novel amazing but so is this app. I'll definitely be using this for my audio entertainment for the foreseeable future!!!
