Sword God in a World of Magic

I'm writing this review as I just finished it and I have to say that I loved it. I'll write about it as a whole for anyone interested while also keeping the review spoiler free. I can safely describe this novel as a long journey that focuses on power, the author as put a lot of work on it and it feels really organised and well made. When reading it, you'll be thrown in a complex world with tons of characters and fantasy elements while you experience the life of the MC. Although the side characters have their development and a bit of space, the novel still describes for 90% of the time the MC's journey and only when the author introduces new people or during time skips the focus will move away from him. You'll not have to ignore all the clique, because thankfully the author didn't used them or at least their usage was made with skills and not to stretch and milk more content from the novel, keeping it basically filler free. The novel, as intuitable, focuses on fighting and how to grow stronger in a world where strength reigns supreme. How the fight happens and the powers that are in play are really well described, you will not find "it's impossible to understand" or randomly abstract concepts (like the infamous power of friendship 😅) because everything is carefully described, highlighting again how much passion and work the author put in here. If a novel like that may be interesting for you then I highly recommend it, and if you find moments that you're not a fan of I can only hope that you will still carry on and continue to read it. There are moments of suspense well written and a plot that reflects a lot of talent and commitment.

At times the story admittedly felt a bit hard to get through. Mainly because of the personality of the main character but the world building never disappointed. Author left me speechless with the plot twist at the end and has me wanting to go back and reread to try and find any hints I didn’t find before. The story and progressive of the Mc felt somewhat therapeutic looking back at it all and feels like a great representation of what a one dimensional focus can do to the human mind. Can say with confidence that Sword God was a wild ride that I enjoyed and thank you to the author for such a story.

Warmaisach Is a truly great author. I am writing this review, more than 6months have passed after I have completed this masterpiece. Thats how big of an impression it left me. It is a story about how someone can achieve something they want, if they truly desire it, they have to be prepared to bear consequences, as everything comes at a price. Furthermore, it was a true emotional roller coaster, which I liked, it is one of those novels, which will leave deep imprint on you, truly great. Highly recommend for people to read it.

Peak work! And completed! Finally a good novel outside the mainstream t*rt*r*. Hard to say much without spoilers but its an amazing journey and highly recommend for everyone who is tired of the same stories over and over again. For people who want to get away from usual repeating tropes. This is one man and the path to his goal. No useless BS. Realistic mental development and reasoning. On the menu are pain, suffering and more pain for desert. Also glad I read this before the authors other novel, which I will be now catching up in. Enjoy all.

I haven't read Litow (author's first novel) before but there will be some things that you can understand it you read that novel before this. And this novel is very good. The author doesn't miss. Cool plot twists, mind breaking even. It is a novel that has dark and pain parts.

You can still read it anyways, it's still very good, but the ending is just too confusing without prior information. Anyways cool novel. Read it. 💀

So far I enjoyed this novel (500 ch so far) well the only thing I think that bothers me so far is the mc stone cold personality, i think that for me it ruins the novel a little bit but it's a personal preference of mine that's it, btw I absolutely recommend to read this novel!

A very good novel which at times can be difficult to enjoy and read (because of some very depressing developments that seem unreasonable), but after reading through all of it, I can say that it was definitely worth it to keep going and finish the novel.
