The First Order

The First Order made me cry laughing at various points while delivering a story that was just as often dark, philosophical, and emotionally moving. The world-building is quite well-done, and the mystery/personal arc of the protagonist is preserved and handled quite well over the course of the story. While I do think that the novel starts to lose a bit of steam in the last 200 chapters, the author does wrap up the character arcs over the course of its slightly abrupt ending, so this isn't one of those entirely unsatisfying rushed endings that make you wish you never started the novel.

If ur reading this let me tell u something: 1. First 100 chapters are a bit slow 2. Overall its so funny that that the slow start doesnt matter 3. The story well. . it goes from Mad Max apocalisse style, to Iron man finishing with an enrollment in Hogwarts 😂 4. In the end i couldnt get enough and the ending seemed rush but it make sense 5. You never get tired reading it and its never repetitive plus once u get in reading it get so funny that u hate it ended. ✌️

This novel is very well written, it is a really good novel with great story-telling, humour, heartfelt moments and solid plot points with interesting world building. However, I disliked the ending arc of this novel, it was very rushed and did not bring a good end to the story, it even lacks aftermath / epilogue chapters. I was surprised the ending was so abrupt, and honestly, I really disliked the last enemy in the story, it just was very lame and felt a bit boring and uncreative, it was clear author ran out of ideas. So yeah, this novel I would place at 3. 7 / 5, it is a very good read but the last arc was uncreative and the novel, while it has a conclusion, ends very abruptly with no epilogue. I also wish we had more information and backstory about the MC history and characters related to it and a lot of plot points were never truly elaborately explained or just had some logical flaws.

Absolutely loved it, it has a perfect balance of humor and drama, where the funny moments are well spaced out and actually hilarious, whilst not taking away the seriousness of the story And what a good story it is, all of the arcs feel meaningful in the development of both the story and the characters And I love the characters they all feel real and their development feels deserved and realistic I just would've loved to see some after stories, but I guess I will just think about it myself

It's a pretty good story and the humor is really good. The atmosphere of the world is similar to Shadow Slave's, but quite a bit lacking compared to it. The MC is well written and actually has a personality instead of being Generic Isekai MC #67265, and the other caracters are really likeable as well. The only real criticism is about the palace. It feels like a crutch to the entire novel, only being used when the MC needs a power up, and never seen or heard of in the middle of the war or fighting arcs.

This is an absolute masterpiece in my opinion. Def one of the top 10 I´ve ever read. The story will make you laugh but also thoughtfull about human life and morals. What I really liked was the blend of it. Not too much comedy or philosophical parts but definitly some onions hidden away. All in all I enjoyed it a lot and can only reccomend it. The characters will definitly grow on you even if you dont notice it in the beginning. But at least for me i did in the end :((((((((

A decent hidden gem from relatively low in ranking. Somewhat of a cautionary tale of corruption and disregard of humanity, alongside unregulated technological advancement by those in power. I feel the power system is somewhat underutilized throughout the story but still done well enough to bring exciting combat scenes and the character development makes for plenty of emotional moments.

25/02/2024 I Daniel Salvatore was here. One of the best stories I've ever read, with no downsides to speak of. 10/10 I tend to stop midway in the stories I've read in the past year's but the first order was easy and addictive slide. Thank you author and translator for such a good piece

19-02-2024 ~ This was an amazing story that had me on the verge of crying a few times. it has a suitably open ending and it has been a pleasure to read this gem of a novel. I highly recommend reading this novel.

A novel full of humor, tragedy and epicity. Deals with human moral issues from the point of view of a post-apocalyptic world. The MC, and all the characters that surround him, are characters full of personality, each with their pros and cons. I liked the relationship between the MC and the FMC, despite having hardly any romance per se. (They don't even kiss in the entire story, but there is continuous flirting) The world building and power system are pretty good. The last arc, in my opinion, is a bit disappointing compared to the rest of the novel. But overall it's a good ending. A beautiful journey. 4, 6/5 ⭐
