    Dropped at chapter 8. I’ve seen this formula ahout 200 times already sorry. BTTH begginigng was better than this. Face slapping with no build up is just not satisfying

    The whole premise at the beginning is him being a badass murderer, but in the story he barely murdered anyone… 3/5

    Wait since Mu chen is a GREAT RULER and his mother is a SAINT HEAVENLY SOVERIEGN whereas is his dad is WORTHLESS then will his dad die first. i dont even want to imagine that scene. i feel sad now cause that adds a sad part to the ending

    Perhaps its because this was one of the early cultivation novels I found but I enjoyed this BTTH and the one with Lin dong by this author very much. Would say the great rulers a level worse than the other two though would give it a 3/5. Same with library of heavens path, hes OP and you know it.

    Currently at chapter 171. Honestly I have to say that this novel has absolutely no suspense when it comes to the fights including the MC. He just never loses and he is always fighting someone who is a level or 2 higher than him. The story gets repetitive with the peanut gallery always underestimating the MC, but then he miraculously always wins. There just too many things that just makes this novel a below average cultivation novel, which is just a shame because it doesn't have a harem in it.

      Basically another generic novel. I fail to understand how chinese author simply cannot comprehend that a protagonist can in fact suffer losses. Sure im overexagerating ny lumping all authors together but still... Its almost as if a Mc, and any1 relates to him, cannot ever suffer a single loss because its how god decreed it to be. Why is that? Do these authors represent stubborn people? Who refuse to admit any mistake and thus reflect that with their god protagonists. Curious food for thought

        well it was a nice read even though it was slightly in the MCs favour but the power levels were very cleary defined and there was no insane ending but actually a nice ending unlike a LOT of other cultivation novels and it was also a nice touch for MCs of other novels in the same universe to appear. Most novels have unbeatable protagonists Including Hits like Solo levelling so I don't really care if the protagonist is op. as long as he has a good backstory and the cultivation progress is not very slow paced and is well defined, I'm all in. This novel also had other elements like BODY cultivation which was a nicely done unlike other novels which only give it a perfunctionary glance. OVERALL its a good novel so i don't know what your complaining about?
