The story is very good and it has an interesting take on mc's life where he doesn't start of overpowered and a proper explanation to his abilities

This novel isn't that bad. For a slice of life blacksmithing novel, it's actually pretty great. It's just that it gets so slow and boring after a while. . . like I get it's supposed to be repetitive and laid-back writing, but it's so filled with filler since the MC's a blacksmith, and it just gets soooo boring. most of the filler has nothing to do with his profession either, like there are whole chapters which serve no purpose cause they accomplish nothing. Also, the action and romance in this novel is sometimes so clearly forced. like I don't mind having action, but MC was attacked by some super powerful dark assassin organization out of nowhere, without particularly good reason except for author fulfilling a quota, and then they chase him down. for romance, he had a one night stand randomly with a girl and people say he met his wife randomly. anyway, this book at best can be considered average, and if you don't like slice of life its definitely not for you

The basic conclusion, it's a good story, and it can be entertaining, but just that. This novel is not a new take on the isekai genre, and a little limited due to the writing skills of the author; while the novel shines in its detailed approach to magic and craftsmanship, its storytelling and character dynamics evoke mixed feelings. The story often gets bogged down in intricate descriptions of runesmithing and daily routines. While these details may result fascinating to a little few, they frequently overshadow the plot, slowing the story’s momentum. Significant developments can feel few and far between, making the narrative less engaging for readers seeking action or drama. On the MC side, is overbearing the cautious personality, which limits his growth over the story, making feel stagnant because of his reluctance to form deep connections or take bold risks, what is worsened by the lack complexity needed to drive meaningful interactions or challenges with the supporting characters. The best example of this are the romantic elements, they are subtle and take a backseat to the technical and slice-of-life aspects of the story. The subdued nature of the romantic subplot reflects the MC unnecessarily guarded personality, but risks being too understated to resonate. The prose in the novel is functional but not without flaws. Grammatical errors and repetitive phrasing crop up throughout the text, which can pull readers out of the story. While not severe enough to ruin the experience, these issues do detract from the overall polish. I think the author, through the story, offers a detailed and immersive exploration of magical craftsmanship, making it a niche delight for readers who enjoy technical magic systems and methodical world-building. However, its slow pacing, limited character growth, and understated human relationships prevent it from reaching its full potential. The romantic subplot and broader human connections, while present, often take a backseat to the protagonist's solitary focus on runesmithing. This leaves the emotional core of the story underdeveloped, making it less appealing for readers who prioritize interpersonal dynamics in their fantasy narratives. Overall, it is a solid read for patient readers who appreciate intricate detail and a slice-of-life approach. However, its deliberate pace and muted emotional depth may not appeal to everyone. For those who enjoy a quieter, more introspective fantasy, this is a story worth exploring—but it may not satisfy those seeking high stakes, dynamic relationships, or fast-paced action.

first, I like the setting with dungeons and the initial combination of classes, which affects the kind of classes you get in the future. The MC is pretty good although I think he is way too passive sometimes which is a bore. The way the MC uses his class to fight is also enjoyable to read unfortunately, that's pretty much where the good parts of the novel ends. The main issue with the novel is the lackluster plot. Usually in stories, there is a larger plot happening behind or maybe not so behind the scenes that advances the story or ac which creates a climax which is the payoff for the reader. The problem here is there is never a climax in the story. In this novel, the MC is pretty much just crafting stuff or leveling up in a dungeon, and then sometimes there's a small conflict that he resolves in 5-20 chapters. There aren't any arcs that change up the story or introduce new important characters with a slow build-up for a nice payoff. Another issue is the side characters. They are just not that important to the story. Pretty much all of them had some little encounter with the MC during the 5-20 chapter "incidents" where they had some screen time then after that they are just regulated to slice-of-life characters that he only mostly interacts with in the downtime. . Another big issue is the ginormous amount of filler in this story. There is A LOT of downtime. I find myself sometimes just skipping a bunch of paragraphs and even rarely entire chapters because I know nothing in them or important. I think there was an entire chapter about the MC eating food with his gf and some children so yeah I skipped that. The author also sometimes gets really descriptive about something or repeats a paragraph from a few chapters ago about a situation or thing the MC is thinking about. It's pretty clear that the author is trying to meet a word count amount and that they're adding a lot of fluff to reach it. I really did enjoy the novel while reading it but I find myself getting less and less enthused about continuing as the story has gotten stale with the MC pretty much doing the same things for 300 chapters

One of the most realistic MC, has no reason to go forward except of his magic and finds new porpise apart from his desire to dissapear and live a tranquil life, often contradicts himself like a normal human would do, because feelings is not reason, and I love that part

Seeing the MC develop various things step by step gives a nice feel to the novel. Also the relationship with female lead seems stable and human. Can't wait for the next update.

well i don't know. . sure the story was there somewhere. the plot was interesting, the crafting and levels we're good, i mean even the city hopping is great and justified. but the romance part was literal 'here you go', no romancing whatsoever kek. anyway it was downhill from there 'cause i got put off with that part my mind just won't absorb the words

The plot is quite predictable. The protagonist has no drive to succeed in this new world. The characters are quite bland. Many side characters are presented and forgotten for the rest of the story. The system of power is not properly explained and leave much to be desired. I have read many novels from Lord of the mysteries to cheap Chinese cultivation novels and I can confidently say that you will find this boring. I have no idea why this is rated 4. 3 since is complete trash.

A really good novel, this captures your attention and the details are fleshed out. Fights and strength progression are clear and his advantage is not really OP. Only downside is there is no daily updates.

It’s a pretty good novel. Starts off pretty bad but the latter chapters completely make up for it. It’s very slow paced and doesn’t update all that regularly so if that’s not your thing this isn’t for you.
not disagreeing with you, but you're completely disregarding the fact that this is a slice of life novel. All of the things you mentioned are common for slice of life novels. yes, it's boring, but it doesn't deserve such a low rating just because it's a bit bland. if its bland its average, not garbage, and some people prefer bland
