    Hi! I've first read Kill the Sun and Sword God, and I really liked the character development and the darker side of these novels, and so I wanted to know if this novel is similar to the other two, and if so, in what ways?

    Anyone knows other novels with the same (or better) quality than the Warmaisach novels? Kinda feel lost now that i've read Lightning is the Only Way and Sword God in a World of Magic (waiting for more chapters of Kill the Sun to start reading it)

      In the ending of SGWM, you can see: . The Gravitas Mental Health Clinic. . Gravis appearing as the Silver Shadow. . Gravis' dad/The Opposer/Mr. Bauer, giving people the happiness treatment at the Gravitas. . And you see all of the Abominations in SGWM? Well, they're all Gravis, ALL of them. . I'm near the end of LITOW but I'm not at the part where it explains this yet. . All in all, SGWM is depressing, and again, idk how Gravis didn't notice that horrible world. Well at least he saved it, quite late but he did.

        LITOW definitely deserves it's rank, it's better than SGWM. . The cringe part might be the romance near the end of the novel but that's it. It's not even cringe actually, some ppl just can't stand Romance. . The MC is a bit of a hypocrite on a certain arc, but that also changes once some serious issues are resolved. . Other than that, you should totally read LITOW. . Btw, between the author's 3 novels, you could say that Gravis is the only true Main Character, it's literally like Klein in LOTM, they're from a different novel, still in the same world, but there's only 1 actual MC.

        SGWM: Depressing . LITOW: It's all about Happiness and Freedom. But there's quite a bit of suffering before this though.
