In the beginning, the author plays the role of an extra with no ambition other than quietly waiting for the story to end. He is almost like a babysitter that watches over the plotline, however, this will only be in the first 40 chapters or so as he will soon be dragged into the plotline regardless of how much he doesn’t want to.
The MC may come off as someone that has no ambition in the beginning but as the story progresses it will change

I hope you manage to stick through it. Also, don’t come reading this expecting it to be another TNE. In fact don’t compare the two. If you do, the flaws of this book will become more apparent as you read ruining the whole experience

I had completed this long time ago and I forgot to review it so here it is - It was my first novel on this site and when I read it I got completely hooked to it Start of the novel is similar to TNE ( author also mentioned it ) but after some chapters it's completely different and more dark too. Some people are replying due to not so great end but I am satisfied with it yeah it could be done more justice but well what's done is done And about character development it's also good and it's not just sudden motivation b*llsh*t like that and one final thing manipulation runs deep in authors novel. It's a decent novel although I did rage a bit at times, that's a common thing for me. The characters are quite enjoyable, In fact, I enjoy some of the side characters more than the MC by a wide margin. The world-building is well done as well. One of my biggest critiques is the power system. A character could be out of mana and then be like “oh lets use a potion” and the effects are instant, anticlimactic asl. Now let's talk about my worst part of the novel, that being the last arc. It was complete *ss. All the characters other than the MC become useless which defeats the entire point of the timeskip. It has hands down some of the worst writing I read and that says a lot since I read a lot of brainrot novels. It’s dragged on for far to long and tbh it was the most disappointing sh*t ever. The last arc ruined the overall story for me but thankfully the last couple of chapters saved it. The end was done beautifully. I’ll give it a 7/10.
